Guingamp into Coupe de France semi-finals at AS Cannes's expense

Guingamp advance to the semi-finals of the Coupe de France by ending AS Cannes's run in the competition.

Guingamp have ended AS Cannes's run in the Coupe de France at the quarter-final stage thanks to Mustapha Yatabare's second-half brace.

Fourth-tier side Cannes knocked out Ligue 1 sides Saint-Etienne and Montpellier on their way to the last eight but couldn't pull off another scalp today.

They had Lucas Rouabah sent off in the first half but still stayed in the match until the 72nd minute when Yatabare broke the deadlock.

The Malian put the result beyond doubt seven minutes from time to send the 2009 champions through to the last four.
