Valenciennes defender Nicolas Isimat-Mirin has agreed to join French side Monaco this summer.
Although the youngster is yet to officially sign, the deal for is thought to be in the region of £4.2m [€5m].
The 21-year-old was reportedly being chased by three clubs, but Isimat-Mirin has revealed that refusing a deal to sign for newly-promoted Monaco was impossible.
"I want to grow with [Monaco]," the France Under-21 international told Telefoot.
"I could not refuse such a project so I just decided to go."
Isimat-Mirin will become Monaco's fifth signing, joining the likes of Radamel Falcao, Joao Moutinho, James Rodriguez and Ricardo Carvalho.
