AS Monaco sporting director Vadim Vasilyev has denied that the club are to sign Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez and Barcelona keeper Victor Valdes.
The pair had been linked with moves to the Ligue 1 side to follow in the footsteps of Joao Moutinho, James Rodriguez and Ricardo Carvalho, who have already signed for the club.
Vasilyev told RMC Sport: "No, we are not in negotiations for Carlos Tevez. Many newspapers have spoke about it, but the issue of Tevez has never been discussed here.
"The Valdes rumour is also false. We are pleased with our goalkeeper [Danijel Subacic]. We will discuss it again with [coach] Claudio [Ranieri] in a few days for the moment we are not interested in Valdes."
Monaco are reportedly close to sealing a deal to sign Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao.
