Fabian Delph backs Aston Villa to improve

Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph believes that the team will 'come back stronger' following their 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph has backed the team to 'come back stronger' following Sunday's defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

The Villans failed to extend their unbeaten run to three matches as they went down 2-0 at Villa Park thanks to goals from Andros Townsend and Roberto Soldado.

However, Delph is confident that the players will do their best to get back on track when they host Everton this weekend.

"We will go back to the drawing board and look at what we've done wrong and we'll come back next week hopefully a bit stronger," he told the club's official website.

Sunday's loss saw Villa slip down to 13th place in the Premier League table.
