Dwight Yorke impressed by Gabriel Agbonlahor impact

Former Aston Villa striker Dwight Yorke praises Gabriel Agbonlahor for playing a key role in the team's 2-1 win over Leicester.

Former Aston Villa striker Dwight Yorke has claimed that Gabriel Agbonlahor was the catalyst for the team's comeback victory against Leicester City.

The Villans made it two consecutive victories in the Premier League on Sunday as they came from behind to defeat the Foxes 2-1 at Villa Park.

Following a disappointing performance by the team during the first half, Yorke believes that Agbonlahor's display after the break played a big part in their triumph.

"He was outstanding in the second half," Yorke told Sky Sports News. "He's got pace and he used that for the second goal. He kept his composure, picked out a good pass to [Christian] Benteke and he made a fantastic pass to Alan Hutton. Agbonlahor is the one who really triggered things and really set the tone for Villa in the second half."

Villa are back in Premier League action on Saturday when they travel to Midlands rivals West Bromwich Albion.
