Aston Villa midfielder Riccardo Calder moves to Dundee

Aston Villa's 19-year-old midfielder Riccardo Calder agrees to join Dundee on loan until January.

Dundee have secured the loan services of Aston Villa midfielder Riccardo Calder.

The 19-year-old featured for Tim Sherwood's side during pre-season, but he is yet to make his senior debut in a competitive encounter.

"We are delighted to have Riccardo join. He is highly rated and has great potential," Dundee boss Paul Hartley told the club's official website.

Initially Calder has agreed to remain at Dens Park until January, but the deal could be extended until the end of the season if the switch is successful.
