Atletico Madrid have reportedly made an offer of £10.5m for Santos forward Leandro Damiao.
The 24-year-old, who was heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur last season, joined Santos from Internacional in January of this year.
However, the Brazilian international has been criticised for his 'lack of agility and pace' by some sections of the media this season.
According to AS, Damiao is now back on the market and Atletico are the first club to submit an official offer for the striker.
It is understood that Santos are holding out for closer to £13m in order to sanction a sale.
