Lionel Messi will reportedly start on the bench for Barcelona's Copa del Rey clash against Levante at the Camp Nou on Wednesday evening.

The Spanish champions enter the second leg of the quarter-final holding a 4-1 lead from the first leg in Valencia last week.

According to Marca, boss Gerardo Martino will take the chance to rest Messi ahead of the La Liga clash with Valencia on Saturday afternoon.

Cristian Tello, Alex Song and Martin Montoya, however, are expected to feature from the start.
