Bayern chief Uli Hoeness: 'Zlatan Ibrahimovic a bitter prima donna'

Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness blasts Zlatan Ibrahimovic's recent criticism of Pep Guardiola.

Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has branded Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a "bitter prima donna" following the Paris Saint-Germain striker's recent criticism of Pep Guardiola.

The Swede, who worked under Guardiola during their time at Barcelona, slammed the new Bayern boss in his recently-released autobiography and revealed that they had a troublesome relationship at Camp Nou.

Hoeness has not taken kindly to the outlash from Ibrahimovic and believes that he is wrong about Guardiola.

"We have a completely different opinion than Zlatan Ibrahimovic. We are very satisfied with Pep Guardiola," Hoeness told Bild. "Ibrahimovic is a bitter prima donna if you ask me.

"He has never really gotten over his Barcelona exit. No team has ever been happy with him. He always brings problems with him."

Ibrahimovic joined Barcelona from Inter Milan in 2009 and left on a permanent basis in 2011.
