Neymar warns Dunga over substitute role

Neymar tells Brazil head coach Dunga that he will not get used to life as a substitute after being limited to a 10-minute cameo in the friendly win over Costa Rica.

Neymar has told Brazil coach Dunga that he is not willing to get used to life as a substitute after being benched for the friendly victory over Costa Rica on Saturday.

The Barcelona forward was given just 10 minutes of action after he reportedly limped out of training on Thursday, but the 23-year-old has blasted his manager for not including him in the starting lineup.

The 23-year-old, who only returned to the Barca side last weekend against Malaga after suffering from mumps, told ESPN Brasil: "Being benched is not something I am used to and I am not willing to get used to it.

"I want to play and I am always working to be amongst the starting XI."

Neymar is suspended from his country's first two 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Chile and Venezuela next month after being sent off in the Copa America clash with Colombia.
