Borja Oubina confident Luis Enrique will stay at Celta Vigo

Celta Vigo skipper Borja Oubina is confident that Luis Enrique will remain in charge of the Spanish outfit next season.

Celta Vigo skipper Borja Oubina believes that Luis Enrique will remain in charge of the Spanish outfit next season.

Enrique has been strongly linked with the managerial position at Barcelona in recent months, with Gerardo Martino expected to depart the Camp Nou in the summer.

Reports claimed that Enrique had held a meeting with Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta on Monday as speculation gathered pace.

However, Oubina is confident that Enrique will not depart Celta in the summer.

"Last summer we all lived through a similar situation with the coach and in the end he stayed with us," he told AS.

"The coach is working as usual – nothing has changed. His commitment, despite all the rumours, has remained the same."

Enrique took charge of Celta at the start of the season having previously managed Barcelona B.
