Barcelona's Pedro bemoans Cesc Fabregas departure

Barcelona winger Pedro concedes that he is going to miss receiving passes from Cesc Fabregas next season.

Pedro has conceded that he will miss Cesc Fabregas's presence at Barcelona next season.

The Spanish midfielder made 40 appearances last term, but he was granted permission to join Premier League side Chelsea earlier this summer in a deal thought to be worth around £30m.

When asked about the loss of Fabregas, Pedro told reporters: "Everybody knows Cesc is a great player, one of the best in his position in the world.

"It's a shame for my position because obviously where I play, as a striker, he is a guy who can provide you with very good passes."

Pedro himself had been tipped in recent weeks to leave the Camp Nou, but he is now expected to remain with the Catalan club.
