Barcelona consider Fernando Torres move?

Barcelona may reportedly make a summer swoop for Fernando Torres, who is expected to be released by AC Milan.

Barcelona have reportedly added Fernando Torres to their list of summer transfer targets.

The 31-year-old is currently on loan at his boyhood club Atletico Madrid from AC Milan, where he will be out of contract in the summer.

Barca head coach Luis Enrique is known to want to recruit a striker to act as cover for Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, with Torres now a potential option to take on that role, according to AS.

However, the report adds that the Spanish and European champions are likely to face competition for Torres's signature from clubs in the Far East, the Middle East and the MLS.

Torres scored the last of his two goals this season on September 19.
