Barcelona eye Bayern Munich's Joshua Kimmich?

Barcelona want to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich in this summer's transfer window, according to a report.

Barcelona are reportedly considering a summer approach for Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich.

According to Fichajes, Barca technical director Robert Fernandez travelled to Munich on Wednesday to watch the German in action against Juventus in the Champions League.

Kimmich played the full 120 minutes of the last-16 second leg in central defence, and it is understood that a favourable report was returned to Camp Nou.

The 21-year-old, who joined Bayern from Stuttgart in January 2015, is contracted to the German champions until the summer of 2020, but Barcelona are thought to be confident of enticing him to Spain.

Kimmich has made 27 appearances for Bayern this season, including 17 in the Bundesliga.
