Andres Iniesta is reportedly considering an offer to leave Barcelona to join a club in the Chinese Super League on a deal worth £600,000 per week.

Andres Iniesta has reportedly been offered a contract worth £600,000 per week at a club in the Chinese Super League.

The midfielder has spent his entire career at Barcelona, scoring 61 goals in 711 appearances for the Catalan giants in all competitions.

However, according to Sport, the 33-year-old has a deal worth £2.4m per month on the table in Asia, and the Spanish international is said to be contemplating the lucrative switch.

Iniesta remains a key part of Ernesto Valverde's plans at Camp Nou, with the playmaker featuring in 24 starting lineups in all competitions during the current campaign.

Barcelona have no intention of standing in the way of the club legend, however, should the player choose to spend the next stage of his career in China.

Earlier this season, Iniesta penned a "lifetime contract" with Barcelona.
