Neymar father rules out Barcelona talks

The father of Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar suggests that there is no immediate possibility of the Brazilian securing a reunion with Barcelona.

The father of Neymar has suggested that he has no intention of attempting to negotiate a return to Barcelona for the Paris Saint-Germain forward.

Throughout the summer transfer window, Neymar was heavily linked with a second stint at Camp Nou, just two years after departing for the Parc des Princes for a world-record fee.

However, with three years left on his contract, the Brazil international eventually remained at the Ligue 1 giants.

While there remains talk of a switch to the Spanish champions at the end of this season, Neymar Santos Senior has hinted that he does not want to hold talks with the Catalan giants.

Speaking to ESPN Brazil about a potential trip to Barcelona, Neymar Sr said: "This is not the case. I'm in Brazil and stay here."

Neymar has made just five appearances for PSG in Ligue 1 this season.
