The 23-year-old has recently been linked with a move to Italian champions Juventus after finding it tough to play regularly for the Spanish giants.
"The boy is fine and still has a long contract," Vilanova told ESPN Espana. "I hope that he continues to play here for a long time."
Sanchez joined Barcelona from Italian club Udinese in July 2011.
