Pep Guardiola eager to avoid complacency against Porto

Pep Guardiola insists that there is no room for complacency ahead of Bayern Munich's Champions League quarter-final tie against Porto.

Pep Guardiola has warned his Bayern Munich players that Porto will not allow them to be dominant over both legs of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

Bayern meet Porto in the first leg in Portugal on Wednesday evening, and Guardiola is expecting the hosts to adopt a positive approach rather than sit back in an attempt to frustrate the creative members of his squad.

"We're here with these players and will give it our best shot," the Spaniard told reporters. "We can't turn up in just one game if we want to progress, we need to do it in both games.

"They are not a counter-attacking team; they will also want to control the game. They like to press their opponents high."

Bayern are looking to book their place in the semi-finals for the fourth successive year.
