Preview: Bayern Munich vs. Freiburg

Sports Mole previews Bayern Munich's home clash against Freiburg on Saturday.

Freiburg are the latest team faced with the task of stopping the Bayern Munich machine when they travel to the Allianz Arena on Saturday afternoon in the Bundesliga.

Bayern had a short break from league action this midweek, but it was a similar story as they hammered Hamburger SV to power into the semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal.

Freiburg won their last game before the winter break and began the second half strongly, but just one point from their last two has left them sitting nervously above the relegation playoff spot in 15th.

For Bayern, Franck Ribery remains out with an injury that could also see him miss the Champions League tie with Arsenal, while both Bastian Schweinsteiger and Javi Martinez are pushing for starts having made comebacks from respective injuries.

Sebastian Freis remains Freiburg's major injury concern and he is unlikely to feature against the champions.
