Xabi Alonso makes his debut for Bayern Munich in this evening's Bundesliga match against Schalke 04.

Bayern Munich have named Xabi Alonso in their starting lineup for this evening's Bundesliga match against Schalke 04.

The Spanish international will make his debut for the club after completeing his move from Real Madrid yesterday.

Pep Guardiola is unable to call upon the services of Arjen Robben, but there is plenty of strength in attack with Thomas Muller, Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski all starting.

Meanwhile, Julian Draxler and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting will offer the main threat going forward for the hosts.
