Quartet sign new Bayern Munich deals

Thomas Muller, Javi Martinez, Jerome Boateng and Xabi Alonso all agree new contracts with German champions Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich have confirmed that Thomas Muller is one of four players that has agreed to extend their contract with the German club.

The striker, who has been heavily linked with a switch to Manchester United in recent months, has committed his future to the Allianz Arena until the summer of 2021.

Defender Jerome Boateng and midfielder Javi Martinez have signed deals of the same length, while experienced Spanish playmaker Xabi Alonso has also penned an extension.

The former Liverpool and Real Madrid man was due to become a free agent at the end of the season, but he has reached a deal that will keep him in Bavaria for a further 12 months.
