Real Betis rally to defeat Barcelona B

Goals from Dani Ceballos and Jorge Molina fire Real Betis to a 2-1 victory over Barcelona B in their Segunda Division clash.

Real Betis have strengthened their position at the top of the Segunda Division courtesy of a 2-1 comeback victory over Barcelona B at the Mini Estadi.

The home side took the lead in the third minute when Sandro Ramirez raided through on goal and slotted the ball past Antonio Adan into the net.

Betis responded through Dani Ceballos, who found the net from close range in the 19th minute with a low drive into the bottom corner.

The visitors put the pressure on Barcelona and it finally told in the second half when Jorge Molina fired his side ahead in the 70th minute.

The hosts pushed for an equaliser late in the game, but Betis held out to secure the three points to move six points clear at the top of the table in the race for promotion to the Primera Division.
