Former Blackburn defender Colin Hendry has stated that Rovers boss Steve Kean needs help from the club's owners if he is to avoid relegation this season.
Despite taking points off Liverpool and Manchester United in recent weeks, Rovers fans have continued to call for Kean's dismissal, but Hendry has claimed that the Scotsman needs more support from those above him.
"Steve Kean has handled himself extremely well. Some of the criticism is unjust and, when all's said and done, he's a human being and he's got a family," Henry told talkSPORT.
"If you're a Blackburn fan you want the people in charge to make decisions to make the football club better. I understand the fans' frustrations as they have no chief executive, no chairman and no assistant manager for Kean at this minute in time. He's walking alone, Kean needs some help."
