Junior Hoilett believes that Blackburn Rovers can avoid relegation if they continue to perform as they did against Sunderland.
The Canadian scored the opening goal in a 2-0 win over the Black Cats at Ewood Park last night.
Hoilett, who has scored three goals in his last two games, said that he is confident of scoring with every chance he gets.
When asked if Rovers could beat the drop, the 21-year-old told Sky Sports News: "Of course, if we keep playing like this we can keep gaining points, important points, to get us away from the relegation zone.
"The team has done well, we've done well in training and we're working hard so every time I get the chance to put the ball in the net I'll put it in there."
Yakubu added the second late on for Steve Kean's men yesterday.
