Joe Mason targeting more goals on loan at Bolton Wanderers

Joe Mason vows to work hard and keep scoring goals on loan at Bolton Wanderers alongside strike partner Lukas Jutkiewicz.

Bolton Wanderers on-loan forward Joe Mason has vowed to work hard at the club and continue scoring goals.

The 22-year-old rejoined the Trotters last month from parent club Cardiff City, finding the net twice in his last two games alongside strike partner Lukas Jutkiewicz.

"I felt like [Jutkiewicz and I] worked well together, so hopefully we can keep doing the same thing, working hard to carry on scoring goals together," Mason is quoted as saying by The Bolton News.

"The more game time I get the more confident I will be and, hopefully, that will show on the pitch. I actually knew Lukas from when I was at Plymouth when I was younger.

"I was in the youth team and he joined the club on loan from Everton – I only knew him briefly because he was a few years older but we also have a mutual friend, so it was great to be reunited with him."

Mason will remain at the Championship side until mid-April.
