Report: Bolton Wanderers want Craig Dawson

Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman is reportedly planning to launch a bid for West Bromwich Albion defender Craig Dawson.

Bolton Wanderers are reportedly plotting a January move for West Bromwich Albion centre-back Craig Dawson.

The 22-year-old has not featured in a Premier League match since April and he is said to be surplus to requirements at The Hawthorns.

According to The Mirror, Trotters boss Dougie Freedman, who is keen to bolster his side's defensive options next month, is willing to lodge a bid of £3m to bring Dawson to the Reebok Stadium.

Dawson made three appearances for Team GB during the London 2012 Olympic Games.
