Mats Hummels has urged Borussia Dortmund to build on their 1-0 victory over Hoffenheim.
Jurgen Klopp's side climbed off the bottom of the table thanks to Ilkay Gundogan's winner, but Hummels believes that the success will mean very little if they fail to go on a run of good form ahead of the winter break.
"We can't really talk of relief yet - we have a few more steps to go still. We did the same against Gladbach at home, but then didn't build on it away - we have to do that this time," the centre-back told reporters. "But it was a great game and we had great support.
"[Sebastian] Kehl gave us a great pep talk before the game. He's got a great talent for it and we needed something like that today. I think we saw on field that we all wanted to fight our way out of danger."
Dortmund turn their attention to the Champions League when they meet Anderlecht on Tuesday.
