Bournemouth treating Callum Wilson's injury cautiously

Championship high-flyers Bournemouth admit that they have to be careful with top scorer Callum Wilson's hamstring injury.

Championship side Bournemouth have admitted that they are being cautious with top-scorer Callum Wilson's hamstring injury.

The England Under-21 forward tweaked his hamstring two weeks ago against Ipswich Town and had to miss last week's match against Millwall.

He could feature this afternoon at Wolverhampton Wanderers, but may have to sit out again.

"Especially with players like him, who do a lot of sprinting, hamstring injuries can be quite risky," Cherries assistant boss Jason Tindall told the club website.

"What we don't want to do is bring him back too soon and lose him for six to eight weeks.

"Hopefully he will be available this weekend but if not, then certainly the weekend after."

Since joining the club from Coventry City in the summer, Wilson has scored 11 goals in all competitions.
