Half-Time Report: Wolverhampton Wanderers lead Bournemouth at break

Wolverhampton Wanderers are on course for their first win in six matches as they lead Bournemouth 1-0 at half time.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are on course for their first win in six attempts as they lead Bournemouth 1-0 at half time at Molineux Stadium.

Both sides saw long-range efforts palmed away in the opening 10 minutes, as James Henry and then Matt Ritchie tried their luck from distance, while Brett Pitman should have done better than fire over the bar from inside the box shortly afterwards.

Wolves began to see more of the ball and Artur Boruc was relieved to see Rajiv van La Parra fire wide after he had fumbled Dominic Iorfa's initial effort.

Van la Parra then tested Boruc at his near post once more before Dave Edwards flashed an effort narrowly wide and Danny Graham planted a header over the bar as Wolves looked the brighter side.

Four minutes before the interval, Graham netted Wolves' first goal in four matches with a glancing header that nestled in the far corner of the net to give them the lead at the break.
