Sports Mole previews the League Cup third round clash between Bradford City and Burton Albion at Valley Parade.

League two pair Bradford City and Burton Albion clash in the third round of the League Cup at Valley Parade on Tuesday.

Bradford have began their league campaign in solid fashion with a return of 16 points from eight games to occupy fourth spot in the table. Burton, meanwhile, sit seventh following a strong opening to the season and are unbeaten in their last five.

The pair last clashed in the league last October when Bradford surrendered a two-goal lead to share the points in a close encounter.

Bradford could be without as many as five first-team players for the clash, while David Syers will miss the match through suspension. Meanwhile, Burton will hope to have at least two of injured striking trio Aaron Webster, Tony James and Billy Kee available.
