League Two side Burton Albion dump Leicester out of the League Cup, beating the Foxes 4-2.

Leicester City have crashed out of the League Cup in the second round, losing 4-2 to League Two side Burton Albion this evening.

Burton took the lead after 20 minutes when Chris Palmer's deflected free kick beat Kaspar Schmeichel in the Leicester goal.

Albion doubled this lead less than 10 minutes into the second half as Cleveland Taylor shocked the home fans with a second goal.

Anthony Knockaert responded for Leicester, pulling a goal back for the Foxes on the hour mark, but their one-goal margin was short lived.

Less than five minutes after Knockaert's goal, Albion were awarded a penalty that Robbie Weir duly dispatched, and then four minutes later Jacques Magahoma put the League Two side 4-1 up.

Leicester tried to fight back, Marco Futacs scoring in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a mere consolation goal as Burton pulled off a major shock.
