Port Vale were completely dominant at Vale Park, emphatically beating Rotherham United 6-2, with four goals coming from Tom Pope this afternoon.

Gillingham ran out 3-1 winners away at Barnet, while Britt Assombalonga helped himself to two goals to help Southend United beat Dagenham & Redbridge by the same scoreline.

Exeter City claimed a hard-earned three points after a 4-2 win away at Oxford United.

A hat-trick from Jon Parkin helped Fleetwood Town record a 4-0 victory over Morecambe.

A late Bradford City equaliser gave them a point in the 1-1 draw at Accrington Stanley.

Bristol Rovers also grabbed a late goal - deep into injury time - to draw 2-2 with Aldershot Town.

Northampton Town beat AFC Wimbledon 2-0, while a second-half Matt Paterson goal gave Burton Albion a 1-0 win over Rochdale.

Torquay and Plymouth Argyle played out a goalless draw, as Wycombe Wanderers and Cheltenham Town also earned a point each in a 1-1 draw.

In the fifth minute of extra time, York City hit an equaliser to draw level at 2-2 with Chesterfield.
