Team News: Brighton & Hove Albion entrust Craig Mackail-Smith with solo role

Brighton & Hove Albion decide to keep their faith in sole striker Craig Mackail-Smith as they welcome Bolton Wanderers to the Amex Stadium in the Championship.

Brighton & Hove Albion have entrusted Craig Mackail-Smith to lead their attacking line as they take on Bolton Wanderers in the Championship this afternoon.

Smith is to be supported by a five-man midfield that will feature Liverpool loan signing Joao Carlos Teixeira, who impressed last time out against Leeds.

The visitors have made one change to their starting XI, with Hayden White coming in at full-back as he secures only the second senior start of his professional career.

Going forward, Wanderers have opted for a strike partnership made up of Joe Mason and Craig Davies.
