Ben Mee returns to the Burnley lineup for this afternoon's trip to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Ben Mee has returned to the Burnley lineup for this afternoon's trip to Brighton & Hove Albion.

The full-back returns following a knee injury to take a place on the right-hand side of a back four that also features Charlie Taylor - making his first Premier League start - on the opposite flank.

Former Seagull Stephen Ward misses out after sustaining a knee injury of his own in the victory over Stoke City on Tuesday, while Kevin Long drops to the bench.

The hosts make four changes to the side that lost to Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday as they try to prevent a fourth successive league defeat.

Glenn Murray, Pascal Gross, Bruno and Solly March are all promoted from the bench, where they are replaced by Ezequiel Schelotto, Beram Kayal, Tomer Hemed and Jose Izquierdo.

Brighton & Hove Albion: Ryan; Bruno, Duffy, Dunk, Bong; Propper, Stephens; Gross, March, Knockaert; Murray
Subs: Krul, Kayal, Hemed, Goldson, Izquierdo, Schelotto, Brown

Burnley: Pope; Bardsley, Mee, Tarkowski, Taylor; Gudmundsson, Cork, Defour, Arfield, Hendrick; Wood
Subs: Lowton, Vokes, Barnes, Westwood, Wells, Lindegaard, Long
