Burnley attacker Nathan Redmond is reportedly sidelined with an injury, explaining his absence from recent fixtures for the Premier League newcomers.
The 29-year-old sealed a switch to Turf Moor in the summer as a free agent, adding valuable top-flight experience to the newly-promoted club.
Having finished as champions of the Championship last season, Vincent Kompany is looking to translate his attractive style of play to the Premier League with Burnley.
The former Norwich City winger has featured three times in the league for the Clarets so far this term, however all of those appearances were off the bench.
According to Turkish journalist Gokmen Ozcan, Redmond is currently out of action for Burnley due to injury, explaining his absence from recent matchday squads.

The attacker has failed to feature in either of his side's squads since the season's first international break, missing the Clarets' fixtures against Nottingham Forest and Manchester United.
Kompany's men picked up their maiden point of the top-flight term at the City Ground on September 18, with summer signing Zeki Amdouni bagging his first goal for the club since moving from Basel in a 1-1 draw against Steve Cooper's Tricky Trees.
Saturday night action in the Premier League saw Burnley welcome Erik ten Hag's Red Devils to Turf Moor, and although the hosts dominated possession, a moment of quality from Bruno Fernandes handed the second-tier champions their fourth loss of the term.
A separate article from Turkish outlet Star is claiming that Redmond has been left dissatisfied by his lack of game time in England since joining in the summer, although it is understood that such reports are exaggerated.

The report does not go into detail on the type or seriousness of the attacker's injury, however he is not expected to feature in his side's trip to Salford City in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night.
Another player set to sit out of a clash with fourth-tier opposition is Johann Berg Gudmundsson, who was forced off in the early stages of the defeat to Man United due to a calf issue.
Kompany is set to rotate his XI for the match at The Peninsula Stadium as the Clarets look to book their spot in round four of the competition, with the likes of Jay Rodriguez in line for starting berths.
Burnley return to Premier League action on Saturday afternoon, when they travel to Newcastle United who are fresh off their 8-0 demolition of fellow newly-promoted outfit Sheffield United last weekend.
