Danny Ings looking to sign off with a victory

Burnley forward Danny Ings believes that his side have to end their Premier League campaign with a win to reward their fans for their backing this season.

Burnley forward Danny Ings has insisted that his side have to sign off their Premier League campaign with a victory against Aston Villa to thank the club's supporters.

The 22-year-old will likely play for the Clarets for the final time as manager Sean Dyche has conceded that the striker is expected to leave Turf Moor in the summer.

Ings believes that he and his teammates will have to be wary of a backlash following Villa's hammering at the hands of Southampton last week.

He told the club's official website: "It's important we give the travelling supporters a display today because they've been tremendous all season.

"They'll be looking to respond after their result last week at Southampton, especially with the cup final coming up."
