Cardiff City face a tough challenge against Blackpool as the Bluebirds try to bounce back from their recent defeat at the Cardiff City Stadium this weekend.

Cardiff City will hope to burst into the top six of the Championship table when they host Blackpool in Wales this weekend.

The Bluebirds, who lost 3-2 to Crystal Palace last week, face a tough challenge against fourth-placed Blackpool, who will be determined to overcome their 3-1 loss to Huddersfield on Monday.

Cardiff boss Malky Mackay could start Craig Bellamy on Saturday due to the Welshman's recent recovery from injury and Heider Helguson could be called on to provide attacking service to the former Liverpool forward.

Meanwhile, Ian Holloway should line up with Neal Eardley and Ian Evatt securing the back four, while Nathan Delfouneso is likely to be trusted to find the back of the net for the Seasiders.

Recent form:

Cardiff: LWWWL
Blackpool: WLDWL

Possible lineups:

Cardiff: Marshall; McNaughton, Taylor, Hudson, Connolly; Whittingham, Cowie, Gunnarsson, Smith; Helguson, Bellamy

Blackpool: Gilks; Crainey, Eardley, Evatt, Baptiste; Gomes, Ferguson, Osbourne, Ince; Taylor-Fletcher, Delfouneso

Sports Mole says: 2-2
