Team News: Middlesbrough name unchanged starting XI for Charlton Athletic clash

Middlesbrough name an unchanged starting XI for the first time since March 2014 ahead of their Championship clash against Charlton Athletic at the Riverside Stadium.

Middlesbrough have named an unchanged starting XI for the first time since March 2014 ahead of their Championship clash against Charlton Athletic at the Riverside Stadium.

On-loan defender Tomas Kalas, who missed his side's last two games with an ankle injury, recovers in time to make the bench, while centre-back Daniel Ayala is still suspended.

Charlton make four changes to their side as Morgan Fox, Oguchi Onyewu, Simon Church and Tony Watt are all included in the starting lineup.

Defender Roger Johnson, who recently joined the club on a free transfer, is not in the Addicks squad, while Christophe Lepoint will have to wait to make his full debut after being placed on the bench.

Midfielder Johnnie Jackson returns from a calf injury but also has to make do with a role among the substitutes.

Middlesbrough: Dimi, Fredericks, Gibson, Omeruo, Friend, Leadbitter, Clayton, Adomah, Tomlin, Vossen, Bamford
Subs: Mejias, Woodgate, Forshaw, Reach, Whitehead, Kalas, Kike

Charlton: Dmitrovic, Solly, Fox, Ben Haim, Onyewu, Gudmundsson, Veljkovic, Buyens, Cousins, Watt, Church
