Chelsea's Gary Cahill: 'We'll play Paris Saint-Germain clash like a final'

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill believes that Wednesday's Champions League last-16 decider against Paris Saint-Germain will be "like a final".

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has claimed that he and his teammates will treat Wednesday's crucial Champions League last-16 second leg like a final.

The clash is all square following a 1-1 draw at Parc des Princes almost three weeks ago, but the Blues have a crucial away goal.

After playing in the Capital One Cup final and against West Ham United in the Premier League within four days, the team were given two days off ahead of Champions League preparations.

"We have had more time than we usually would to rest up and prepare in training for a good three or four days before the game," Cahill told the club's official website. "We've been able to really work on specific things in preparation for it.

"We know the quality of PSG and the job that lies ahead of us. It's going to be like a final, a big one-off game, and we'll be ready to go out there and give it everything we have to get us into the next round."

In the league, Chelsea have a five-point lead over second-placed Manchester City, as well as a game in hand.
