Thibaut Courtois has claimed that the disappointment of losing a Champions League final is driving him on to deliver success with Chelsea in this year's competition.
The Belgian reached the final last season while on loan at Atletico Madrid, but he couldn't get his hands on the trophy as Real Madrid triumphed in Lisbon.
"Once you've been that close, you want it even more because it's like you tasted it a little bit, being so close to winning," Courtois told reporters.
"We were so close, so now you want to win it even more.
"I think the next time - if there is a next time - if we win it, it will taste even better."
Chelsea host Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of their last-16 tie on Wednesday, and hold a slight advantage thanks to an away goal in a 1-1 draw last month.
