"Super professional" Ashley Cole to start for Chelsea

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says that he is recalling Ashley Cole for tomorrow's Champions League clash against Steaua Bucuresti.

Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Ashley Cole will form part of the Chelsea starting lineup that will take on Steaua Bucuresti tomorrow night.

The experienced left-back has spent the last seven matches on the bench, with Mourinho having preferred Cesar Azpilicueta in that position.

However, once he had revealed that the England international will regain his place against the Romanian club, Mourinho went on to praise Cole for the attitude that he has shown in recent weeks.

"I know him well," the Portuguese coach told reporters. "It's easy to feel that he is not happy and comfortable with the situation.

"The way he has behaved and train, [he is a] super professional, as always. On the bench behind me I can feel that he is there to win, even though he is not on the pitch.

"He is full of respect for me and the fellow players. He starts tomorrow."

Cole's contract at Stamford Bridge is due to expire in the summer.
