Andre Villas-Boas denies accusations that the Chelsea boss ordered his players to celebrate goals with him.

Andre Villas-Boas has refuted claims that he ordered his Chelsea players to celebrate their goals with him.

Reports suggested that the ex-Porto manager told his team to carry out any future goal celebrations on the touchline with him in order to display a sense of unity within the London side.

"It's a false story, I never said anything like that. It's ridiculous," Villas-Boas told Sky Sports News. "I think The Sun in two weeks is spot-on in two false stories.

"I already told them that if they pay an informant they should get their money back. I told players that when we score a goal the bench lives through the same emotions and we celebrate with them, with the same desire.

"We are for them and we cannot play we want to die with them with the effort they put in and that is what I said in that conversation that we had, so it's an unfortunate story."

The Blues' Premier League title chances have been renewed following their 2-1 victory over league leaders Manchester City at Stamford Bridge last night.
