Chelsea's Eden Hazard fit, Ashley Cole ruled out of Tottenham Hotspur clash

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho confirms that Eden Hazard is fit to face Tottenham, but Ashley Cole is ruled out due to an injury that he picked up in training.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that midfielder Eden Hazard is fit for tomorrow's Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur.

There were doubts over the 23-year-old's fitness after he picked up a knock while competing for Belgium during the international friendlies in midweek.

However, Mourinho has stated in a press conference today that Hazard has "no problems", but left-back Ashley Cole has been ruled out after picking up an injury in training yesterday.

"Unfortunately he got an injury yesterday in training and is one of the players who is out tomorrow," The Mirror quotes Mourinho as saying.

"A lateral ligament, a little thing, but impossible for tomorrow and between eight and 10 days."

Cole, who started for England in Wednesday night's 1-0 win over Denmark at Wembley, has struggled to keep his place in Mourinho's team.

The 33-year-old has become second fiddle to Cesar Azpilicueta at Stamford Bridge.
