The 30-year-old sustained the problem during his team's trip to Everton this afternoon and as a result had to be replaced by Ross Turnbull during the half-time interval.
As yet, the Blues have not revealed the extent of the damage suffered by the keeper, who was making his 400th appearance for the club.
