Sunday's Premier League predictions including Liverpool vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Liverpool vs. Tottenham Hotspur.

Brighton vs. Aston Villa (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Champions League qualification could officially be sealed for Aston Villa at the Amex Stadium on Sunday, where an out-of-sorts Brighton & Hove Albion side await for a Premier League showdown.

The Lions return to domestic duty after being stunned by Olympiacos in the first leg of their Europa Conference League semi-final, while the Seagulls were crushed 3-0 by Bournemouth last weekend.

We say: Brighton & Hove Albion 0-1 Aston Villa

Villa could be forgiven for being pre-occupied with thoughts of Piraeus, and the Lions' European exertions coupled with Brighton's alarming lack of attacking firepower gives rise to a low-key Amex affair this weekend.

The visitors' affinity for goals remains alive and well, though, and with potentially just one more win required for a guaranteed top-four finish, Emery's men can carve their way through a permeable Brighton backline and bolt the back door shut to hit the 70-point mark.

Chelsea vs. West Ham (Sunday, 2.00pm)

A second Premier League London derby in the space of a week awaits the Stamford Bridge faithful on Sunday, as Chelsea pit their wits against fellow European hopefuls West Ham United.

The Blues earned a merited 2-0 triumph over Tottenham Hotspur in Thursday's capital clash, while the Irons have had a week to reflect on a frenetic 2-2 draw at home to Liverpool.

We say: Chelsea 2-1 West Ham United

Chelsea's feats in the face of injury-related adversity on Thursday were remarkable, and the Blues' penchant for scoring multiple goals in home matches should not cease against a West Ham side without a clean sheet in 15 Premier League games.

Moyes's refreshed men should enjoy a bit more success in front of goal than a toothless Tottenham did on Thursday, but we still give the home specialists the edge in this one, even if their overworked 11 starters may be pushing through the pain.

Two titans stuttering towards the Premier League finish line clash at Anfield in Sunday's headline battle, as Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur both endeavour to rectify some recent mistakes.

Jurgen Klopp's side could see their title hopes crash and burn this weekend, while Spurs are potentially just one defeat away from being eliminated from Champions League contention.

We say: Liverpool 3-1 Tottenham Hotspur

Working with limited recuperation time, always vulnerable from dead-ball situations and seeing their former stars lose their way at a crucial point in the season, Tottenham's top-four hopes could officially be extinguished at Anfield.

While Klopp's out-of-sorts side have flattered to deceive themselves, 28 points won from losing positions is nothing to be scoffed at, and also fuelled by September's injustice, we have faith in the hosts to - perhaps inconsequentially - revert to winning ways.
