Jose Mourinho not worried about Chelsea job

Jose Mourinho insists that he is unfazed by the intense speculation over his future as Chelsea manager.

Under-fire Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has insisted that he is paying little attention to the intense speculation over his future at Stamford Bridge.

The 52-year-old will reportedly be sacked if the Blues lose Saturday's visit of Liverpool, with the Premier League champions already 11 points behind co-leaders Manchester City and Arsenal following their worst start to a season for 38 years.

Nevertheless, Mourinho, whose side sit 15th in the table, admits that he is worried about the team's upcoming fixtures, but not his future.

"I am not worried about my job. I am not worried about my future," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "I don't spend one second of my day thinking about it.

"It looks like you want to put a lot of pressure on me in relation to that, where you can't do it. You can't do it. I am worried about the results. I am worried about winning [on Saturday]. I am worried about qualifying for the next round of the Champions League.

"I am worried about recovering positions in the table and to go back to where Chelsea normally has to be."

Chelsea have lost eight of their 16 games in all competitions so far in the 2015-16 season - including five league outings.
