Team News: Pep Guardiola makes six changes for Manchester City's clash with Chelsea

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola makes six changes to his side for the Premier League clash with Chelsea.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has made six alterations to his side for their Premier League clash with Chelsea.

Guardiola rang the changes for City's 2-1 victory over Burnley last weekend and he has done the same for the visit of the league leaders.

John Stones, Ilkay Gundogan, Jesus Navas, Kevin De Bruyne, Leroy Sane and David Silva have all been selected, with the major absentee being Raheem Sterling who misses out through injury.

Bacary Sagna, Fernando, Yaya Toure and Nolito have also been left out of the starting lineup, while Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has caused a surprise by selecting Cesc Fabregas.

The Spaniard comes into the team for Nemanja Matic, who has been ruled out through injury, as Conte contends with having to change his in-form team for the first time in two months.

Manchester City: Bravo, Otamendi, Stones, Kolarov, Fernandinho, Gundogan, Navas, Sane, De Bruyne, Silva, Aguero
Subs: Caballero, Zabaleta, Sagna, Clichy, Toure, Fernando, Iheanacho

Chelsea: Courtois; Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Cahill; Moses, Kante, Fabregas, Alonso; Pedro, Diego Costa, Hazard
Subs: Begovic, Ivanovic, Aina, Chalobah, Oscar, Willian, Batshuayi
