Radamel Falcao open to Liverpool move despite Chelsea interest?

Manchester United flop Radamel Falcao is reportedly open to signing for Liverpool this summer, despite interest from Chelsea.

Radamel Falcao is reportedly open to joining Manchester United's arch rivals Liverpool this summer following his failed loan spell at Old Trafford.

The Colombian international managed just four goals in 29 appearances for the Red Devils during a season-long loan from Monaco.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has strongly hinted that Falcao could move to Stamford Bridge this summer, but it is understood that Liverpool remain interested in the forward.

According to reports in France, the 29-year-old may prefer a switch to Anfield, despite the lack of Champions League football on offer, and Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is said to be keen on strengthening his strike options following a lacklustre spell in front of goal in the season just gone.

United had an option to buy Falcao for a fee in the region of £40m, but opted against taking him on permanently.
