Mamadou Sakho has insisted that he has no intention of leaving Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
Injuries and poor form earlier in the season restricted Sakho to just 16 Premier League appearances, but Brendan Rodgers put his faith in the Frenchman when his side adopted a 3-5-2 formation.
Despite often struggling to find consistency during his two years at Anfield, Sakho claims that he is committed to the club for the foreseeable future.
Asked whether he was considering leaving, the 25-year-old told reporters: "Not at all. I feel good at Liverpool, I play.
"I like Liverpool, next season I'll still be a Red, because I still have to prove many things over there.
"I like the club, it's a young and skilled team. I hope to achieve great things with this club."
Liverpool paid Paris Saint-Germain £15m for Sakho in the summer of 2013.
