Atletico Madrid defender Juanfran has hinted that Fernando Torres's reported return to the Vicente Calderon is almost a done deal.
The Spaniard is currently on loan at AC Milan from Chelsea, but it is understood that Atletico are confident of signing the experienced forward on a free transfer early next month.
"Like all of Atleti, I'm looking forward to the signing of Torres once it's confirmed," he told reporters.
"Fernando's a great player. I'm convinced that with the desire of him, the club and the coach, we'll see a great Fernando.
"He'll give everything he's got. He's always scored a lot of goals, has a lot of heart and knows what it means to wear the Atleti jersey."
Torres represented Atletico's first team between 2001 and 2007, scoring 91 times in 244 games for the Spanish club.
